• Milk - half litres.
• Oats - 1 cup.
• Diced onions - 1 number.
• Curd starter - 1 tea spoon.
• Oil - 1 tablespoon.
• Dry red chilies - 1 number.
• Mustard seeds - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Cumin seeds - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Chana dal - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Urad dal - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Curry leaves - 2 springs.
• Chopped ginger - 1 tea spoon.
Preparation of curd:
Dice onions and separate layers and keep aside.
Boil milk in a vessel then switch off the flame and add oats to it.Transfer this oats mixture to a bowl.
When it comes to a warm temperature, then add curd starter and diced onion. Leave it to set for about 3-4 hours.
For Tempering:
Heat oil in a pan, add red chili, mustard seeds, cumin seeds, urad dal, chana dal, chopped ginger, curry leaves and sauté it
Add this tempering to the above bowl and mix well.
The Oats curd is ready to serve.
